What type of exercise should I start with if I am feeling out of shape or new to becoming active?

Whether you are new to exercise or looking to increase your fitness level, barre sessions are a great way to start! They are low impact so do not include jumping up and down or quick switches in direction. Your muscles and heart are challenged in a way that is vigorous but also gentle. High-intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sessions with Bodies by Blanch can be more challenging for the muscles and heart but are modified to an individual’s fitness levels to provide a foundation and room to grow. A good workout session is designed to challenge your body and ultimately leave you in charge of you! Listen to the messages your body sends you.
