Many people say they’d like to be more fit, live a healthier lifestyle and reach their goals but aren’t quite sure where to start. That’s where Bodies by Blanch Fitness comes in to offer a customized fitness structure and the positive reinforcement you need so that you can concentrate on getting your body and mind into the state you deserve and desire.

BARRE

A class style that is gaining popularity all over the globe. It is a full body, low impact, vigorous workout that increases muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and balance. Barre includes the best of pilates and yoga with ballet inspired positions. Movements are performed with precision, more time in muscle tension and different ranges of motion. It's not a ballet dance class. Barre centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. Get in touch with your core. Pulse, hold and breathe your way to more defined muscles!

YOGA

Are you new to yoga, working with injuries or feel a bit lost in yoga class wondering if you are doing it safely and correctly? Have you felt you could use a modification or progression step for your pose?

Nicole teaches her yoga students to experience yoga in a way that is right for their own unique form. She will guide you in safe and fun yoga practice where the poses fit to your body.

A consistent yoga practice has many benefits. Some include decreased stress, improved balance and coordination, a stronger immune system, improved digestion and circulation. Your peace of mind and self-awareness will also improve. Strengthen, lengthen, mobilize, increase stability and energize yourself while you learn yoga with Nicole.

After each class, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and visit with other members. See you there!

PERSONAL TRAINING

Private 1:1 or small group training. Whether you are new to exercise, returning to activity or a fitness guru, these customized sessions will give you support to overcome plateaus to help you reach your goals and experience faster results. You will be suited with the tools needed to perform exercises safely and effectively that will take your fitness to the next level. Gain confidence using equipment or just your body weight. Learn proper technique and posture for exercises and every day living. Get myths debunked and have your questions answered!

INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)

Bring your "getter done" attitude, burn calories, improve strength and cardiovascular fitness with these full body, multi joint exercises repeated in rounds. You will work up a sweat, have fun and learn a new way to move. Bodies by Blanch Interval Training usually incorporates free weights but no equipment is necessary to make a change and there are modifications for different fitness levels. This class is designed to target different muscle groups and guaranteed to bring you to the next level!

BALL BALANCE

This ball balance class will accommodate all fitness levels, get you in touch with your core muscles, improve your balance, strength, and flexibility. Nicole offers modifications to make the exercises easier or more challenging depending on your form and needs. You will need a mat, large stability ball (approx. 65 cm), and a Pilates ball (approx. 25 cm). Weights and bands are optional.

RELEASE, MEDITATE AND RELAX

A class that offers myofascial stretches to release tension and improve the quality of the movement of connective tissue in relation to one another. At the beginning of class, follow along with instructor lead stretching movements taking you through ranges of motion for each of your muscle groups. Then listen as you are guided through a progressive muscle relaxation technique that is meditative in nature. You will focus on the present moment, your breath, and sensations in your body. With practice, you will be well on your way to a calmer more peaceful self. This class helps improve numerous aspects of your life including pain relief from tight muscles, reaction time and short-term memory. Those who have tried it have described feeling more limber in the body, at peace with external stressors and less distracted by their fleeting thoughts. This allows an enhanced ability to solve problems. Teach your body how to relax.
